Same Day Appointments

We do our best to offer same day appointments but our schedule usually fills quickly. Even if you wish to pay with cash or Venmo, please schedule an appointment on square to book. You may also email (knottedpinebodywork@gmail.com) or text Dani directly at

Cancellations, Rescheduling and Tardiness

Our time is very valuable to us. Cancellations or rescheduling of less than 24 hours prior to appointment will result in being charged for your full service.

Exceptions include: emergencies, inclement weather, acute illness or injury, or any symptoms of COVID-19. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will be required to reschedule. If you are unable to keep your appointment you will be charged for the full service price. Clients who are chronically tardy (more than 3 sessions) will not be permitted to schedule any future appointments.

Professionalism and Confidentiality

After filling out intake paperwork, you will be able to discuss your massage needs in a private room with the massage therapist. After that, she will step out of the room, for you to undress to your comfort level. Some people leave all clothes on, some undress completely. We provide sheets and blankets to cover private areas at all times. Sexual advances, jokes, and/or comments of any kind will not be tolerated; in this instance you will still be charged for the full session.

All client files are kept under lock and key. Your file is available to read upon request. We protect sensitive information and do not share it without the client’s written permission. Some of the only reasons for breaking confidentiality include: clear and imminent danger to yourself or others, intent to commit a crime, abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or incapacitated individual.
