Swedish massage involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, over superficial muscle layers. Massage strokes may also be combined with movement of the joints.
Therapeutic Massage is used to release chronic patterns of tension in the body. Through slow deep strokes on any contacted areas, focused breathing, and active stretching the goal in therapeutic massage is to change the soft tissue length. For efficiency, therapeutic massage is best combined with posture analysis.
Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in any athletic activity. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare for events, maintain optimal condition, and to help recover from workouts and injuries.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. Deep tissue massage may also promote faster healing by releasing the superficial fascia that surrounds muscles.

Add-ons for your service:
Hot Stone Massage
In a hot stone massage, smooth river stones are heated to a comfortable, but therapeutic temperature and they are applied to the skin. Hot stone massage is traditionally used to help aid relaxation and ease muscle tension. A hot stone massage can elevate your mood and ease stress. Please note this service is only available with a sixty or ninety minute massage and it cannot be applied to clients with heart disease and/or diabetes.
Salt Glow Massage
Salt glow removes dead skin and reveals the supple, soft skin beneath. The same abrasive friction between the salt and skin which causes exfoliation, also encourages the circulation of blood. In a salt glow massage, massage techniques are applied first, then salt and oils of the client's choice are applied. Please note this service is only available with a sixty or ninety minute massage and cannot be applied to freshly shaved skin.
Aromatherapy Foot Soak
In aromatherapy foot soak treatment, epsom salts, hot water, and essential oils are mixed together and then the client soaks their feet in the mixture. Light, gentle massage can be applied to the client's shoulders during the soak. When the water has cooled, the feet are removed and swedish massage techniques are applied to the lower legs and feet. Great for someone new to massage or someone who wants extra focused attention on the shoulders and feet. Total treatment time is about twenty minutes.
The therapist uses a specialized form to look at the body's holding patterns while the client sits, stands, and walks. Posture is viewed from the front, both sides, and back.
This helps the therapist form an effective treatment plan with the client. Adding on posture analysis is highly recommended for clients with chronic injuries. Total time is about fifteen minutes.
